Military Life
& Therapy

If worksheets and resilience talks aren’t your thing, it might be time for therapy.

Dear Service Members,

When someone in your chain says, “Hey, got a minute?” you already know something has changed in an inconvenient way.

You’re expected to stay composed, adaptable, and operational, even when it feels chaotic in your mind. You're called "resilient" and praised for being able to handle whatever comes your way, but on the inside, nothing feels good or settled.

Over time, that unsettledness leaks out as anxiety, isolation, exhaustion, distraction, or depression.

It's okay to talk about it.

Therapy with me is private and off the record. It’s not connected to your command, your medical file, or insurance databases. This is a space where you can talk openly without worrying what people think.

Dear Spouses,

When your service member comes home and says, “I got some news today,” it’s rarely something good that follows. Your body tightens, you start running through logistics and timelines, and you wonder what this means for your family and your sense of stability. And most of the time, you hold your reaction in. You listen, you nod, you adjust. Again.

Being a military spouse means living with ongoing uncertainty. You do a lot of waiting and worrying, and that can be heavy to hold on your own. You’re expected to be flexible and supportive, no matter the emotional toll.

I understand this professionally and personally. I know what it’s like to live with constant "what ifs."

With me, you can talk honestly about how you're doing without minimizing your feelings and emotions.
